Default guildwars, dying a bit each day

I hope i'm not the only taht thinks taht but, Guildwars becomming moreand more carp troughout this year, the prices are going down for weapons, and up for stuff taht is useless. The green weekend another NOOB event, the noobs are happy, because the weapond price is going down, but the farmers (like I) are not so happy. for example , Ghial hase gone down 10-20k in price, everyone is offering me 5k ^^,but ghial doesnt actually drop more, i took me 2hours to drop 2 staffs, same as usual, the economy is being runned by Anet and noobs !!
green farmers will slow but surely disapear one by one. guilwars is being invaded by noob, quote from game "plz can i borow 20K, i'll give it back i swear!", thats what im talking about. Today, having a 15K amor or fissure armor is not as much a privilage as before, there ar so much, even some noobs have got FoW armor, i was very surprised.
I think that guildwars, is going to be a full noob game some day, because all the good players from prophecies are leaving the game and making place for harecore noobs.

Am I the only one thinking that, thanks for posting answers.

lol I think the exact opposite...

I think its players like you who make guild wars die a little bit everyday.

I saw this event as a chance for me to get greens I wanted without buying them at ridiculous prices from so called " pro farmers ".

My talley for the weekend. A Scar Eater, Sunreach Shield, and a Chkkr Flatebow.

And I plan to use each one.

If you play GW just to farm and make money then you're playing for the wrong reason. And I think Anet is successfully proving that point.

<-- player for 1.5 years. Loving the green event and most other events. Stopped caring about the economy a long time ago.

There have always been noobs in FoW armor, I'm actually encoutering less of them then say a year ago.

And there are faster ways to farm for money then farming greens.

When you say hardcore noobs, I am guessing you are referring to those poorer casual players that do not farm day and night. Hmm..I dont think these players can ruin the game.

wait, your saying your playing do do the coops and missions! these are the events that make tehe economy crash, during the dragon fest for example i made 100k from the presents, taht is so shit! GW is about guilds (obviously and team play), Anet said that themselves, they were against solo farming, taht is how the dying nightmares appeard! And now they are saying the opposite, GWN get your own Heroe, play the whole game solo. I agree taht farming should be done solo because if it didnt it wouldnt be farming, but the game and quests sould be done with other players !
As i said earlier noobs and anet are making GW a little bit crapper every day, and i will always think that Prophecies is the best of the 2 GW, and way better than the upcoming GWN !

If you're only playing in order to acquire virtual in game items, you're the one with the serious problem. It's a GAME. It's meant to have fun with, not to make your epenis grow. Good grief, you're crying about not being able to make as much in game gold that serves no real world purpose. Take a step back and think how sad that really is.

Oh, one more thing, spell check please. Everyone makes typos, but when a complete post is almost indecipherable, well............

3 points to add.

It is That, not taht.

Only kiddies say noob, or maybe the odd simple minded mature player (But you not in that class, reason you use the word taht!)

Anet owns the game and everything related to it, they can nerf and buff what they want. And Suprise, they already have your money. But do me a big favour and don't buy Nightfall. Spare myself and others the pain!

Oh and try farming something useful like gold.

This helps. If these "noobs" cannot obtain elite weapons then they are stuck with white drops. Maybe they will get a lucky gold drop here or there but the chances of it being a perfect one that they will actually use and not sell is rare. Usually they will use a collector bow without mods. Greens have mods. Surely this is helping the "noobs" get better weapons to get better at the game.

People don't want to pay much for a Green item at all. Elite players want them cheap, newbies want them cheap. If I go out to buy a Mini Bone Dragon which I've been trying to for 2 days, I will not pay more than 100+23e simply because I don't want to pay the extortionate price of +30e which greedy people offer.

That's not a noob that's a scammer. The two stereotypical views are majorly different.

If they obtained the FOW legitemately then they are not noobs. Your view of noobs is absolutely rediculous. Noobs are people that are not good at the game. Noobs cannot complete the game. People with FOW armour have completed the game with success. If they obtained the FOW armour using eBay or their brother's money, they are noobs I agree.

As people play the game they work their way to FOW armour. It's currently the greatest single achievement in the game I think. The more people have it the less amazed people are. Fact. If I see someone dressed in black FOW armour I assume they have either eBayed or obtained it legitemately. If I see someone dressed in teal coloured FOW armour I automatically assume no eBay. They haven't dyed it black to show their wealth. Ok, they might dye it black because they like the look of it yes, but not to me, I assume different things. That's just me.

I'ts a free game. This is why noobs are attracted to it. If I just discovere MMO's I'm not going to go full out and pay $$ a month for World Of Warcraft am I? Nope. Guild Wars is popular, it has nice fansites, and I don't know about the support I will get but I will assume it's good since it has a nice website. I get on Guild Wars and I love it. Think back to when you first get on it. You thought wow this game looks amazing. If you didn't you staying here is a big mistake. People who join this game think the same thing. I was a noob. You were a noob.

The main thing is you talk of noobs in Cantha. I argue of the learning curve of Guild Wars between a Canthan and Tyrian upbringing. You talk of Canthans offering you 5K for a widely available. They only offer this because that's the value. They don't have to be noobs. I will offer 5k for a staff I've just seen selling for 5K in another district.

I agree! but 5k for a Ghial staff, from non-noob player (with FoW armor if you like) is kind of anoying.

Did you make a second account just to agree with yourself.

I think if your going to rant and post about the actions and mannerisms of a gaming class, namely 'Noobs', you would receive more respect if you weren't on the same level as before mentioned class.

And your still wrong!

the green event is good to get those weapons you just dont usually get to drop for you but to be honest its brought all the assholes out of the woodwork.

what is it with people who whisper when there is absolutely no need, i had 2 sunreach sheilds drop for me and i needed 5k so i put up a notice that i was selling my spare sunreach shield for 5k. i must of had 9 or 10 people abuse me calling me scammer/noob/random abusive names. my ignore list has never been so long.

and so many idiots trying to rip people off, its ridiculous

Well this thread was fun. A "pro" farmer against people who want to get by with as little money spending as possible (well, or something like that, whatever). I myself don't give a damn about this green weekend, i logged in once with my main character during this time and then i only did one mission.

Your talk reminded me of an asshole that started insulting me because we lost a fight in Yaks' Bend arena (i think it was fight 58 when we lost). Calling me a noob and why did i attack the warrior and whatnot. Claiming to be uuber pro but being the one that needed ressing first in that round. To think an asshole like that had a deer.

Anyways, i agree with the people that say YOU are the type that is ruining the game. And do take not that you and the person agreeing with you are the only ones not bothering to use proper English. I don't know why, but it bothers me. Mainly because i'm not even from an English speaking country and i can make my words understandable as hell.

About the FoW armor, i am probably never going to get it. Wanna know why? Because i mainly like other armor more. I aint gonna boost my e-penis by going there and wasting all my money on something i don't even like. I'd rather just take a few pieces from Ascended Luxon for my A and use some other sets also.

Now for the prices: so they're dropping...well, that's partly good and partly bad. By dropping the price, the rarity of the items decreases and a unique look becomes harder and harder to develop. That's the bad part in my opinion. The good part is that more people will be able to look like they have dreamed about when looking at screenshots of other people and thinking "i wunt taht armr an wepon".

Aside from what i said, i agree with what Legolas posted. A nice, detailed enough commenting on what you did wrong. And of course the classic picture posted by aznkda. First time seeing the picture to be honest, i simply knew the lines. And yes, i'm bored.

Good grief - must be a slow day today
